The journey of one young, curious mind.

Long before she had the language for it and the scientific evidence to validate her hypotheses, our founder knew that a room could change her… for better or for worse.

Our founder grew up an elite athlete with a brain that worked differently.

Dyslexia. Misophonia. ADHD. A nervous system that felt everything, loudly.

The world was often too much, so she learned to tune it.

Living Luxury Lab is born as Erica aims to translate scientific research into practical resources available to all.

Erica began studying neuroscience, not as an academic exercise, but as a way to survive and then to thrive.

From a US Olympic athlete to a software product manager and designer for leading Silicon Valley companies such as Meta (Facebook) & Google, she built technology through the lens of how the human brain actually works.

What moves people, what triggers them, and what helps them flourish. But she kept noticing something the screens couldn't explain. The spaces people lived and worked in were quietly shaping how they functioned, far more than any app ever could.

Erica founded Living Luxury Lab™ to translate science into practical tools and insights anyone can use.

So she followed that thread home, into interior architecture and design. And there she found the gap. Even brilliant designers rarely realize that every choice they make carries a neurological consequence. The light, the sound, the color, the line of sight. All of it is shifting our cortisol, our dopamine, the way we sleep, focus, connect, and heal.

This is established science.

It has simply been trapped inside research labs and journals… contained in esteemed circles of academia.

Erica has spent a lifetime learning to tune her own world. Now she is building the lab that helps you tune yours.

L3™ translates the proven science of how spaces shape us into tools, insight, and design anyone can use. Because real luxury was never the price tag or the trend. Real luxury is a space tuned to you, to your nervous system, to the person you are becoming. That is the most bespoke thing you can own, and it asks for knowledge, not wealth.
